It’s been a while… Before the pandemic I had enjoyed playing at this beautiful establishment and it’s sister restaurant, The Flatiron Room every week. I used the opportunity to season my band and try out new musicians and repertoire. The electric bass came out, a beautiful cherry red Guild Starfire bass from the late 70’s, thumping away in all it’s glory and perfect for the vintage blues and soul we often do.

The room is on par with the best designed in the city, gorgeous and eccentric details abound and is perfectly lit. The space is arranged around an Art Deco inspired stage in a way that makes for an intimate and cozy performance space for the artist and audience with booths for larger parties and a cozy row of tables up front for couples arranged around the stage. There is a liquor library of sorts, complete with a ladder for fetching. That is, if you’re a regular you can have your favorite bottles on hand in their library and they’ll be pulled at your convenience to impress your guests! I should also note that the cocktails and food are top-notch with an unrivaled whiskey selection to boot.

So I hope I have you sold! Come out Thursdays in August and September from 9-12 and relax with us. See you there!
